Project description (in brief):
The survey was conducted in HaNoi, Hue, TP HCM, with the aim to assess the situation on palliative care for cancer patients at hospitals and in the community.
Study subjects: Leader of the Health Communication and Education centers, Leader of K hospital Ha Noi.
Leaders of the provincial PM centers, leaders of the occupational health departments, RHC department of the district PM center, leaders of the district hospitals, managers of the internal medicine departments at the district hospital
Household or spouse of household, age from 18-60, with sufficient capacity in answering the study questions, leaders of CHCs, curing staffs at CHCs, HWs.
Practical work done by the institution’s staff:
- Designing study, including survey tools
- Quantitative survey: Interview cancer patient family member, district health staffs about situation of palliative care service provision for cancer patients
- In-depth interview of health managers, cancer patients, and their family members
- Processing data and writing report
