Project description (in brief):
- The survey was conducted in 14 project provinces including Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Gia Lai, Dac Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong.
- Designing the study proposal and training for investigators.
- The fieldwork aims to collect information on KAP of mothers and inhabitants on safe motherhood and family planning.
Practical work done by the institution’s staff:
- Designing study, including survey tools
- Quantitative and qualitative survey: collected through report of maternal and newborn mortality cases. Researcher gone to each family and hospital where mother and newborn death to interview family members, health staffs to identified their cause of death
- Input and processing data
- Writing report for total 14 provinces and for each province
- Holding workshop to present project result
