Project description (in brief):
- Conducted in 11 UNFPA-supported provinces of the Sixth Country Program and 7 UNFPA provinces of the Seventh Country Program.
- Assessed the infrastructure, equipment for provision of RH care services in 14 provincial hospitals (11 old provinces and 3 new ones), 14 RH care centers, 56 district hospitals, 420 communal health centers.
- Conducted a KAP assessment on provision of RH care services for women, adolescents of 1400 service providers.
- Conducted a KAP assessment on HIV prevention of 2940 adolescent, 2940 women and 2940 men in the 14 provinces.
- Conducted a KAP assessment on provision of RH care services for women, adolescents of 300 managers of RH care program, 300 managers of Population/RH program, 300 Population/RH educators in the 3 provinces of the 7th country program.
- Collected data were processed, reports were written
Practical work done by the institution’s staff:
- Designing the study and developing training materials
- Conducting the technical training for the project staff
- Conducted a KAP survey of health staff and target groups at community
- Conducted a KAP survey of managers of RH care program, Population/RH program, and Population/RH educators.
- Assessing the infrastructure and evaluate skills of health staff
- Cooperating with localities to interview clients and health staffs
- Processing data and writing reports for each province and the consolidation report of the 14 provinces
