Project description (in brief):
- The project was conducted in Nghe An hospital of pediatrics, distric-level hospitals of Thanh Chuong, Tuong Duong, Dien Chau and 30 communes in three above districts;
- Survey on actual situation of provision in hospital of pediatrics and three district-level hospitals;
- Conducted a KAP assessment on provision of child health care services of 400 health staff in Nghe An hospital of pediatrics, district hospitals of the 3 districts and 30 communal health centers.
- Conducted a KAP assessment on child health care of 3000 women having children under 5
- Identified the rate, causes of death of children under 15.
Practical work done by the institution’s staff:
- Designing the study
- Developing the training materials
- Assess the infrastructure, equipment of 94 health facilities by using checklist
- Conducting the technical training for the project staff
- Interviewing 400 health staff and 3.000 targets at community
- Checking facilities of health services and skill of medical workers in 3 hospitals
- Identified the rate, causes of death of children in all the 3 districts.
- Processing collected data and writing reports
