Project description (in brief):
- The project was conducted in 8 districts of provinces Thai Binh, Yen Bai, Gia Lai and An Giang (including 4 control districts).
- Conducted various interventions to reduce perinatal mortality, such as: supplying medical equipment and instruments, conducting the training for health staff from district to commune and village level, including traditional midwives.
- Collected information on live births and perinatal deaths during the time of the study

- Developing the training materials for health staff at various levels
- Conducting the training for surveyors and collaborators
- Implementing interventions
- Doing monthly supervision on project activities
- Doing data analysis and writing final report
